So think ive been manipulated a little...
Im tisking at myself for letting myself being manipulated....
And tisking at myself for letting it go on for a few months....
Has anyone ever met someone who plays mind games on fab ....
Im feeling like a real dopey cow at the moment, is it just me that gets sucked into someones mind games :-/ |

Not on here but around this time last year I found myself locked in to a *very* unhealthy relationship with a sub...
Beautiful, clever and as mad as a box of frogs. the thing I used to get them to do were frankly sick.
Came to my senses one night and decided to drop them. Stopped all contact overnight.
And do you know what?
They NEVER contacted me again - just disappeared. Didn't rescind friendship status or whatever, just disappeared.

But knew ive been having someone playing games with me...
Im just cross at myself, for playing along with it as I actually liked the person....

From the start I could see he was playing mind games..
Knew all along he was playing mind games...
I had an attitude of yeah right I can see your playing games and im not falling for it..
And still friggin fell for it !!

It's not helpful to bash yourself imo. But it is worthwhile to learn all you can from this and take decisions about not letting it happen again.
Good that you've recognized the pattern - so be commit to stopping all contact at that point, should this ever occur again.
See also how you may have contributed to it, so that you don't repeat that either. |

The moment someone is not offering what you're seeking/pushing you in a direction you don't want to go, end it. You're not under contract, they're not offering you a kidney.
Sometimes people aren't honest with themselves on what they truly want, and are happily led.
If something isn't fun for me I can't imagine continuing.

It happens alot  ive found the ones that lie slip up then the games on them. I like to play mind games too. But only with ppl that think they can do it to me. God the lies ppl will say to get out of lies they have already told. I can keep it going for a while. Then work with their lies to play with their head more. god some twisted peeps on here  |

Yep ! People wrongly assume that to be conned must mean that you're a dipshit to begin with - not the case at all , some people are very clever at what they do & not only get their kicks from it but fund their life through it with little care for the destruction that they cause to people who helped them the most.
Dating sites & swinging sites are perfect feeding grounds for these people unfortunately.
My line of work required me to be very on the ball regarding reading body language & people full stop ,in fact my safety & others safety depended on it .Besides 20 years of working with all sorts of complicated people I also studied psychology & sociology .
I still got conned-couldn't believe it myself ! Three years into a relationship with what I thought was my soulmate I discovered that he led multiple lives & that's just for starters !
So it can happen to anybody - nobody is immune! |

I'm not a woman that likes having rules imposed on me or being told what I can or can't do whether it's freedom of speech , movement or anything ! I go by my own rules 'I do as I please & please who I do ' so long as I don't knowingly hurt another living being!
If I'm told I can't do something my usual response would be "says who ....watch me "!!! I'll blame the fiery bloodline!! ;p  |
