Can be fun, can be serious and also can be a little bit aggressive at times.

This is just like face thingie, except there's more adult stuff on here.

I like to come on here and have fun, as my day job can be a little boring, and also have loads of time to myself, so come on here for a laugh or a serious discussion.

This then comes to the people on here, some are friendly, some not quite so, but at the end of the day we are all here for one thing in common.

What's other people's views on this?

Some take everything so seriously on here.

Threads that are obviously done as a joke are seen as being literal by some.

A sense of humour is lacking with a few.

People...everyone is different. There will always be differences of opinion and personality clashes. Its just being adult enough to move past it and enjoy the forum community.

Exactly that! We should all enjoy being here, have fun and have a laugh.

Over the least few days it seems more like a interrogation just posting on here.

Lets have fun guys n girls

Think what is a great by-product of the forums, it can give a little insight into peoples characters and in some cases sense of fun.

I'm here looking for marriage, with a billionaire, who will let me cuckold him.

Might as well try...

I get virtually no mail from my posts. My 'scare the fuckers away' tactic works really well

I agree.

It's why we don't bother worrying about face pics - you can always turn the lights out, but the mind-pic people give with their posts and PMs is always visible, and often far more attractive.

That and I'm pig-ugly, obvs

Glad you're feeling brighter today OP

Central

Things could - for an outsider - appear decidely out of hand. Perhaps some sexist and other remarks that could be considered decidedly non PC. It's almost all well intentioned, though some is perhaps a little silly or stupid.

I like the fact that we've got such a great mix of people. It would be less wonderful if we all had the same mindset, political opinions etc. There's no-one I dislike, many that I admire and really enjoy seeing here. In fact there are people I've never met that I start wondering what's happening with them, if I don't see them for a few days.

There is always something that will get you smiling, that's guaranteed, even if not intentional.

And there's usually a few things that I don't post in because everything has pretty much been said in that thread, or the 500 the same, earlier in the week.

Lucky. I like most of the mail we get from posts but some messages I would love to wish away. Maybe I need to be more scary in my posts.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I love the forums. I've made friends and enemies, even had a few meets through them. They're good company for a single woman.

One thing I see a lot of is people claiming these forums are hard to break into, or full of opinionated people. ALL online forums are. You should see pagan ones! So people should make an effort. We were all new once.

I love the forums too! So much so that I only managed 5 days of a self imposed 3 month break *ahem* Such a diverse set of people and topics, yet we all congregate here seeking interraction and connection. I suppose that's what we all have in common, the human need to be sociable.

I've made more friends than enemies on here, it's good to have a laugh and joke, sometimes even at my own expense, but im usually thick skinned and can take a hit now and again
