I'm really sorry to hear you've been struck down in your prime with what is the scourge of our society: Manflu.
What women like Femme don't realise is that this is a virus that only afflicts men and is incredibly debilitating and painful. For those ladies wishing to understand Manflu further, some have likened the extreme pain to something akin to the pain of child birth.
For you Soapy there is no cure, you will have to brave it out and let it see it's course. Fingers crossed you make it, ya brave lil soldier ya |

Always insist it is the illest you have ever been.
Moan and groan at regular intervals throughout the next 2 weeks(man flu lasts that long)
When someone tells you that you look a bit better, insist you dont feel it.
Dont try to do anything around the house, it will make you worse and could last longer.

Hope your feeling better soon,
i've had it really bad before, i think once you've had it one or twice, you build up a bit of immunity to it, and it's never as bad as the first time.

If you don't care, you Do have flu!!

Having just recovered from manflu kinda. I slept for 2 days apart from hot soup one day but that's all I managed to eat. Had a red hot bath and munched loads of paracetamol.
Once the hot sweats start you will be almost over it. I had bad ache and could hardly walk for a day after but now just have a snotty nose but otherwise feel fine unless I get a coughing fit |

I always dose myself up on Beechams cold tablets and drink lots of honey and lemon.
Failing that a bottle of brandy should work! get well soon.
