Hi. Is it me or is there an extremely high amount of fake profiles of females and couples from Oxfordshire? I seem to recieve messages from people at around 3 to 4am in the morning and all with similar ideas and when you get to it, no action. Anyone else find the same?
I'm now considering leaving the lifestyle after 20 years plus due to the amount of messers online |

There will always be these sort of profiles and yes they can be a pest but why let it ruin the rest of your experience? Just use the filters better maybe just allow messages from verified people if you have an issue with this. |

Whenever I'm trying to establish the probable cause for repeated failure I tend to look for a common denominator that links the individual situations......

As Soxy says, this is important.
I'm also guessing that it could just be a single person in that area who's creating fake profiles, and the op is unfortunate in that he is based there.
Report suspect profiles to admin, as always, and never disclose any finer points about them in public, such as on the forums - let admin deal with it behind the scenes. Admin get better the more that we users support them in their jobs.
The great thing for the op is that he's noticed that his messages arrive at about 3-4 am, so that's an easy giveaway for such suspect profiles.
If people use photos, use something like reverse image searches to check them out too. If there are other patterns, such as users are typically new to fab, then set filters accordingly or just filter for verified users only. |

No we don't get that kind of message but we do get loads on bank holidays, Friday and Saturday when the pubs shut and wet Sunday afternoons that never come to anything. It can be annoying, disheartening even but don't let it stop you  |

Actually that's not really what I was implying...
It wasn't my intention to point a finger at anyone or any wrong doings....
My comment was simply an observation in that sometimes people who experience repeated failure will look to target blame beyond their own involvement those repeated failures....
If we see a pattern of failure emerge it makes little sense to allow ourselves to be drawn into repeating that failure.....

Hasn't stopped meeting people just more suspious of any mail i receive. This leads to mail being missed due deleting so many bs mail.
My point of this is how much the lifestyle has changed . Impatients, idiots and spammers due to access of the lifestyle being made easier i guess with the age of the interenet. I can understand why so many fem and cpl profiles ignore allot of mail if this is anything to go by. That's not to say that some of them aren't as guilty of playing the game aswel, it's amasing how many of them seem to be into amatuer photos as if they're models. Takes alsorts and happy to block them as i do anyone.
The lifestyle i know had etiquette, respect and rules, sadly lacking i'm afraid now |

I'm now considering leaving the lifestyle after 20 years plus due to the amount of messers online
No we don't get that kind of message but we do get loads on bank holidays, Friday and Saturday when the pubs shut and wet Sunday afternoons that never come to anything. It can be annoying, disheartening even but don't let it stop you
