I've just looked at a fellow forumites profile and it tells me we sent mail to each other 7 months ago. 
I have absolutely no recollection of why or what was said.  7 months and I'm clueless. It may well just have been a casual message about a forum post but I think I might actually be losing my marbles.
It's not the first time this has happened. Only last week I spoke to someone else who said we used to chat. We did?
I've started using the private notes a lot now but does this happen to anyone else or am I the only one heading for Alzheimer's?! |

I am one of those people who regularly bumps into people in the street that I know but have a blank on their names, even if it isn't that long since I last saw them.

Happens to me all the time. I generally assume it's been a response to a forum thread (face pic Friday or similar). |

It's a ploy, don't fall for it, I've had messages from guys saying we haven't spoken for a bit check last message sent and its been like over 3 years, I can't even remember who I spoke to yesterday  |

Yeah we come across profiles we have messaged all the time and can't remember any conversation, the way I look at it is if we messaged 6 months ago and haven't either met or on our friends list one party clearly were for the other party so just pass on by |

Guilty as charged. But my memory is soo pants that I forget to fill in my notes as well. 
Most of my messaging is from the forums so I just assume FPF as an obvious contender.
Then I can't remember what they look like and it's all I can do not to bang my head repeatedly against my phone.  |
