Mine are a nightmare. I used to have acrylic or gels but they're not good for the nails, now I'm trying to grow them but they are so thin and weak that it's almost impossible.  |

Personally I do my own gel nails and can't stand not having a polish. Also always have my toenails painted, even in the middle of winter. |

I do my toenails every 3-4 weeks. Although I like my nails done, it tends to be more intermittent. Although I enjoyed gels once I hated having them removed and the nails buffed. |

My toenails are always painted.
My fingernails are well groomed and only painted when I'm in the mood to sit and do them.
I haven't gotten them done professionally since my prom when I was 17. I even did them myself for my wedding.

I have over 100 nail polishes and constantly forget to do them I do get them done as well and keep saying I will take my selection with me love someone else painting my toes  |

My toe nails are nice all the time.
My finger nails not so much coz i'm fairly active so the varnish comes off or my nail chips or gets cut off sometimes. They're still long and filed often and nail varnish put on.
It's not important but i like pampering my nails. |

I don't get mine done, I do them myself. I can't go without nail varnish as they look awful and break. I feel like a complete scruff if my nails don't look nice......it's on a par with going out with no make up on  |

I know what you mean,I had acrylics for a couple of months,which were great as mine nails are forever breaking. The upkeep of them though are a pain |

I must be the ultimate scruff - no makeup and no nail polish
