Aw. I do think there's many right people for us but we'll just never meet them.
Keanu Reeves is mine, i'm sure of it. He's actually been to chorley as well but i missed him. |

The number of people on the planet would suggest there is someone for everyone.
That said, it's amazing how many find their someone in the same neighbourhood.
There is a book out showing how the numbers work. The more criteria you set the less likely you are to find anyone, let alone the one for you.

"What if that one person is someone who has already been in and out of your life, does that mean there's no one else out there...sobering thought "
Life is a process. We're not the same people we were five years ago (unless we're really boring and manage to never have any experiences that change us in any way).
On that basis alone we must create opportunities for someone else to be the right person at that time.

Sometimes I imagine the sun and moon are lovers,
But their orbits mean they rarely meet.
Chasing, and circling each other, but missing
Each other in moments far too fleet.
But once in a while they get the chance
To catch up with each other and kiss.
And when they do the world is awed
By the beauty of their eclipse |

"Really someone for all of us? In terms of love etc? I often think mine has died or emigrated "
I'm just going to work through a few until I find 'the one'. |

Well I don't know, most of us have had long term relationships or marriages by the time we reach a certain and and some say they regret it but they must of thought they where the "one" at the time.
There's also a lot of people that have not settled down, ever, so they haven't found the one.
So if your saying the right one for now, then I think I'd say most people find someone for however long, if your saying "the one" as in being with for the rest of your life then I'd say no.

I think there must be many that are right ...not just one. Otherwise it's pretty freaky how many find "the one" considering how big the world is and how many people there are. |

Eventually yes but I think sometimes it's not easy to find them but they will find you when you least expect it.
I had a really bad marriage but if I hadn't met him and moved to the midlands with him then I wouldn't of met Paul. I had a very bad destructive relationship before that too and before that was my childhood sweetheart who was having a affair with my best friend.
However I think it takes you going through the shit ones to appreciate what you have now. I also think it's hard when to know to throw the towel in on a relationship, and it's also hard to know when to keep fighting for each other Xx |
