It has been felt in the home ever since we moved in and each of us had our own experiences with it but yesterday myself and one other had a weird episode happen so we both could relate to that at last.

Having a spook in your home can make anyone feel like it's just your mind playing tricks

Have you ever had ghostly issues in a home

I've had experiences in life which people would call paranormal, but I'm not sure what they are, neither believe nor dis believe is best, until I know the facts. It's like when people see a UFO and say it's an Alien Spaceship, without even seeing evidence, just because it's a flying object that is unidentified.

But if you really put your mind too it, could you suggest any none ghostly causes of this experience you feel may be paranormal in origin ?

Yes, this was a dog.

You would hear claws on the hallways as if it was walking through the house, then upstairs. You would hear it flop down in one of the bedrooms, the was we didn't have a dog at the time.

My mum saw a Little red haired girl walk down the stairs a few times, never saw where she went after that.

Yes when I was younger in my bedroom at night there were dragging noises like someone was moving furniture. Of course I used to get the blame from my parents till one night I was downstairs with them when it started.

Been in the house we own all my life (we brought it of my parents 12 years ago) my sister used to say there was a black boy (silhouette) in her room so I used to take the piss by making ghost noises and don't believe in spirit world at all until I heard floor boards creeking which I put down to my son walking across the landing but he was asleep in his bed. Most recent one was we was watching a film in bed then what we seen was someone peering around the door looking at us did it twice so I sat upright in bed the wife said so you seen it to ????????

When my grandmother died,we were all in her house, sitting downstairs in her bedroom(as she was no longer able to go up the stairs)

My auntie was sitting down on my grandmothers bed, with my grandmothers jacket on her shoulder, and she was telling her how much we will miss her.

The next thing the door upstairs opened, and you could hear someone walking, then the wardrobe door opened, and thats when i just about needed a pair of new boxer shorts, and went-a-running like forrest gump.

"Ghosts" was a single by the British band Japan from the 1981 album Tin Drum. It reached number five in the UK Singles Chart in 1982. Although it was their biggest hit, this was not enough to stop the band splitting a few months later.

Bereft of drums, the minimalist track would not be described as a "commercially viable" single in most circumstances. However, Japan's popularity at the time, in addition to the early 1980s fashion for new wave music, allowed the single to become unexpectedly popular. The band performed the song on The Old Grey Whistle Test in 1982.[2]

In 2000 David Sylvian re-recorded "Ghosts" using the original Japan backing track and included it on his compilation Everything and Nothing.

I have two gay friends who are massively into ghost hunting and they spend evenings in haunted houses but they just keep putting the willies up each other.....

I thank you

My partner is very involved in paranormal investigations and has done over 100 ghost hunts. He says that people can not disprove it any more than he can prove it, which is fair enough. Our house is full of occult stuff and EMF readers and ouija birds and god knows what else! The funniest people are those who say 'it's all bullshit' and then you pull a ouija board out and they freak out and run a mile - if its bullshit then why be scared?

The house I live in has a ghost. It's a young lady about 15 I have done a historical trace etc and it's all well documented in local history.

She was laid out if that's the right term in my bedroom about where I am now!.

Random things happen, stuff is moved, and things go missing with no explanation and then randomly turn up somewhere else in the house.

If things do start to happen crazy as it seems I talk as if she is here. I've also asked her to go freak out a couple of blokes but she's not as yet lol lol

I had a vision of a small girl at one place we lived and got the strong sense that she had lived there and there was still a presence of her there. I don't believe in ghosts though so I'm still struggling with how to rationalise it. People who say its all rubbish tend not to have had the experience so I tend to see their statements as just ideological rather than insightful. Even though I don't believe in ghosts, the experience was quite distinct and, for me, its not so easily discardable.

One theory I quite like is that spaces and places retain a memory of certain traumatic events. I did get the sense that this girl had died in our flat. So that might explain it. But there are other possibilities too.

Herts

Not issues as such. A lot of stuff used to go on in my Dad's old house.

Things got moved, footsteps could be heard going up and down the stairs and through the hallways, I used to get regular visits from a young soldier at night and my Nieces and Nephews used to be drawn out into the hallway and would just sit there laughing and babbling at an empty space. The dog used to react the same way.

One I remember the most was once being sat downstairs on my own and heard someone come down the stairs and walk through the hallway before I saw a man open the kitchen door, go in and close it behind him. I went into the kitchen thinking it was my Dad only to find there was nobody there. Back door was locked and there was nowhere said person could've gone.

Never caused any hassle and you never felt scared. Just used to get on with it.

My hubby was late home from work, but things crop up so I wasn't too concerned. Suddenly I felt something was not right. I phoned the police and said my husband was late home from work and I had a feeling he had been in an accident and could they keep an eye out for him. (ridiculous he was an adult, and wasn't missing for long, but that's what I did).

I then phoned the local hospital and asked if anyone of his name had been brought in. When I heard not, I still felt desperately worried. I made the first phone call at 5.45pm. He was in a motorway accident, the first death on the M54. Death occurred at 17.45 .

No ghost at home but I saw something I can't explain to this day.

When I was a teenager I used to do a morning milk round. I delivered milk to a house not far from my home, I did for a couple of years. One morning I got of the milk vehicle with the usual delivery for the same house I have been to many times.

On this occasion I opened the gate and started to walk down the driveway and stopped dead on the spot. In front of me in the doorway of the house I saw what looked like a Victorian woman all dressed in white and I could see right through her. She didn't move and didn't say anything.

I froze instantly and a chill went right through me and I dropped the milk crate on the floor and turned and ran.

I never delivered milk to that house again and never returned there again. Still gives me chills thinking about it and it was nearly twenty years ago.

Funniest one I know of so far, is my brother in law. When he was dating my sister, he slept over one night. When he woke up there was an old woman looking at him, she said 'yes, you will do' then walk away. The person he described was my nan, at the time she had been dead over 12 years. He was a bit reluctant to stay after that.

Many many years ago when I was in my mid teen, I woke up one night and I saw my Nan standing at the bottom of the bed. She also went on to say that I would be going to college when I was 16 and later in life I would also find a job. Of course this scared me to death so I went to the toilet and she followed me in there and I turned rind once again and she'd gone.

The next morning I told my parents they can see them something wrong because apparently I lost all my cover fr The next morning I told my parents they can see them something wrong because apparently I lost all colour had drained from my face. For a month later I had to sleep with the lights on.

Sometimes when I go to bed at night I often feel that there is somebody sitting at the end of the bed. I have no idea who this could be but I do have my own thoughts about it

So yes I do believe in ghosts.

Have had things happen that cant be explained and seen things that cant be explained, but as for people saying they run away, its not the dead you need to fear, they cant harm you, its the living that can.

OMG don't get him started I'll save him the effort... It is the task of the person who is asserting the existence of something to persuade others that it exists. It is not up to those who remain unpersuaded to prove that it definitely doesn't exist. The reason for this is that, whilst the former may be possible, if the thing genuinely does exist, the latter is impossible as it would require someone to search all of space and time to verify it.

Does that make any sense?

there are many many pieces of evidence out there that are yet to be proved either genuine or fake, the reason I challenged him to prove it is that he didnt just say he didnt believe, which whether you do or dont til proven is fair enough, he claimed it to be patent nonsense, so getting him started or not I asked him to prove how its patent nonsense.
