Honestly, i have a fantasy in my head that intelligent guys are sexy, but then they start talking about nerdy stuff and i just switch off and get bored.
I prefer guys to look intelligent and not be stupid, but i don't think i'm a sapiosexual, just fantasize about it. |

I like to be able to hold a conversation with someone who's on the same level as me intellectually and who isn't afraid to have a bit of a verbal spar. I don't like talking to a man who agrees with me just because he wants sex or finds me attractive. I like fucking people I am on the same wavelength with personality wise, which may or may not mean we have similar intellects. I do have an issue with the term sapiosexual though since some of the people I think are beautifully intelligent in all the ways I find attractive don't see themselves as clever. I also think that anyone wanting me because of any perceived intelligence I may or may not have is focusing on merely one aspect of who I am as a person and I don't like being someone's fetish. |

Couldn't be in a relationship with someone who didn't have intelligence but they don't have to be smart to have sex with them. Doesn't mean we meet people who can't have a conversation with who have no imagination to try different things. |

I've found almost without exception that anyone who uses the term sapiosexual to describe themselves is incapable of holding any real intelligent conversation but will bore you for hours about what people on blogs have wrote about Marxism and how they're all so totally true!!!

I think that it is as much an emotional intelligence. Sorry to split hairs. I think some people might not understand their kink, nor be able to explain it, but some have an openness to it and to explore it because their nature is to explore.
I kind of think that that nature to explore though, will result in a level of intelligence from experience.
