Can't help but wonder if we're all being fooled about the state of the English game/compared to other leagues we spend the most money but perform poorly (England team included) I fear I might never see us win a world cup in my lifetime...

I stumbled across an amateur match taking place on an isolated field. I enjoyed watching it. It was played with passion. Sure, the skill level was less but I got more pleasure out of watching that than any premier league or international game. |

It's long been a widely held belief that La Liga is superior technically. Ours is more physical.

There's some great Youth footy too. I have the pleasure of seeing a very skilled passionate team that play a lovely brand of football on a weekly basis  |

It is not limited to professional football.
I hate cricket. International cricket bores the hell out of me.
Give me a pint and a village green on a Sunday with a traditional match on and I will happily watch for hours. |

stop watching it then and go and follow lower league football they would welcome your money and your patronage far more than most premier league outfits where your just a consumer to be fleeced as quickly and quietly as possible |

Tbf that's why it's up there as one of the best leagues in the World. As for England being crap it's got to be in the top 10 so it's hardly crap! far from it. |
