"We have some forthright political 'experts' amongst us. As this election is merely a number of days away, it's time to discuss and predict." .
My prediction is....
It's too close to call |

As Harold Wilson famously said. "A week is a long time in politics"
On that basis four and a half years is a bloody lifetime.
There will be many twists and turns. Will it be Cameron v Corbyn? Probably not, one or both will be gone by then. Boris v Chukka? Quite possibly or will Milliband senior make a comeback and Osbourne beat Boris?
UKIP to lose their seat? Maybe, but also maybe they will add to it.
Between now and then the world will change considerably. The migration crisis will get a lot worse before it gets better. The world economy will take another (huge) step backwards. There are too many possibilities for full scale war (involving us) in the world and I expect at least one of them to kick off.
Terrorism will increase and I fully expect to see more attacks in Britain and Europe.
All of these, and others that nobody has thought of yet, will have a bearing on the election result. Too close to call? Maybe. But equally maybe it could be a landslide for either side.

I think the next election will confirm that the two party system is over. I expect UKIP, the greens, plaid Cymru, and perhaps others to increase their vote share which, in turn, will lead to a new debate about PR in order to give representation to all opinions. |

You are in for a very big surprise, I think.
Plaid Cymru are the only ones there who will see an increased vote. UKIP will probably not even exist. |

Hey, it's just an opinion. No need to be rude, is there? |

Corbyn knew from the beginning he had absolutely no chance of winning the general election, he's not a fucking idiot!.
What he's doing is using the time he has, as leader of the labour party to move the direction of politics leftwards and shake it up!
Radical shifts in politics rarely ever happen in this country and if he can drag it left alot then he knows his successor will be starting from a point nearer to his beliefs rather than from a right of centre, where we currently are! |

That is quite a decent theory. |

Very good point although he probably thinks he could win and I could envisage him dragging the youth vote with him which would increase the overall turnout (not a bad thing) but overall, if he gains traction, you would probably be looking at a hung parliament. |

BNP will win by default. Here's how.
The Green Party decide to go start a new planet somewhere else. They've given up on trying to save this one. They're no longer contenders.
Lib Dems. They have like one supporter now. This supporter tragically gets hit by a bus.
UKip. Nigel Fartage tries too hard to look like a man of the people. Overdoses on alcohol, pies, and whippet racing.
Labour. Corbyn is arrested and sent to prison for life for being a terrorist. Something to do with a joke he made on twitter while at the airport.
Conservatives. Camerons face implodes, George Osborne mourns him even more than Thatcher and goes on a drugs & hooker binge. IDS has been assassinated.

I think you could well be right. I assume we'll get the EU referendum and could easily choke ukip to death. |

Come on, your a clever guy we all know nobody's going to abandon NATO, nukes and the royalty overnight (even if I'm personally for it) these are generational changes, and that requires the young to brake from tradition and think outside the box!.... The right do exactly the same thing with ukip and many Tory select committees!
It's about reclaiming where the Centre lies, at the moment it's way left of where it used to be and corbyns job is too swing it back, not to get elected, if he wanted electing he'd be doing the exact opposite to what he's doing?.
The people who get elected are rarely anything than the "face of the party" these days and not the thinkers!, my prime example is ian Duncan smith |
