Just where I need to be. |
I go to the beach and local park and just sit and people watch. Actually doing that now. I find doing something rather than treating myself makes me feel in better spirits. |

I take a little pill that helps me out. If I don't it gets worse. Once it's kicked in I can go about my business so I try to go out. I don't stuff myself with carbs or watch television or put music on. That's distraction tactics for me. |

I love a hot long bath, after ten minutes empty half out and retop up. The ex mrs bath smelly things into water. Heaven. Chilled out indie music from the late 80s early 90s a bottle of iced cold white wine.
Then take away ( my local kebab shop does thin slices of fillet steak off the grill he based it in garlic butter. This then goes in to the softest seeded roll with pumpkin seeds on top, salad, onions then drizzled with a honey mustard sauce)

As I am stuffing my face I am watching a feel good movie! Die Hard! Con Air! Kill Bill! Platoon!
This Friday as above minus the wine and replaced with an ice cold bottle or two of beer chips and dips ready for the World Cup!!!!!!!

It depends on the reason for feeling low. If it's because I've overdone the hermit lifestyle I'll go see a friend. If I'm tired I'll sleep. If I've not been looking after myself foodwise I'll make a good healthy meal. So it depends. Why do you think you feel naff? Address the problem if you can isolate it. If you can't then make a list of the things bothering you and see if you can sort them one at a time. |
