Well, it's starting. Those little lines/creases are starting to appear just above my lip and and the odd one near my eyes   
God damn it why did I have to inherit the "wrinkly gene"
My question is, can anyone recommend a really good product that actually works ?? ie, slows them down, gets rid of them or make them appear less visible?
I really dont fancy the idea of having to iron my face every morning before starting my day in the future

Im sure there not wrinkles.
They are just laughter lines 
But
I do only ever use a moisturiser that contains aloe vera in them.seems to work for me. (S.k) |

The best thing though is being glad you're not 10 years older and going into the menopause.... Enjoy your forties, they aren't so bad  "

I'm not wrinkly yet but do have some mupper mouth going on (thanks grandad). Think i'd rather have wrinkles...
No idea what products are any good though, made me laugh about the iron. |

Drinks loads of water and use any moisturiser to keep your skin from cracking. I use Olay or Ponds cold cream. Your skin moisturises from the inside out. |

My Italian grandmother told me when i was 5 to apply Vaseline to my hands and face every night and i do. You can have a look at my pics and see if you think it worked. |

Plenty of water, eye specific cream and moisturise look at the beauty bible some products that are very expensive aren't worth it. High factor sunscreen for the face sun damages the face and increases wrinkles |

Is it weird that I just don't care?
I've never worn make-up, have pretty good skin and I just accept that I'm going to get old and wrinkly at some point. I'd rather buy shoes than potions that are generally all an expensive waste of time. |

Its abput £50 a jar but you only need a small amount. This works for shrinking pores and acne too.
Intially use it for 3 days and then go to once a week.

op, exfoliate twice a week with gritty stuff, like st ives peach kernel exfoliant, and just get some normal everyday moisturizer, a couple of quid, and use it every day and especially after exfoliation.. and remember your neck and top of your chest xx |

My mum is 63 and you wouldn't put her a day over 50. All she does is stay healthy (she, unlike me is an ex smoker) and uses soap, water and the original nivea cream. Oh, and stays out of the sun as much as possible. |

How are you with dogs now?
I have skin cancer so there's a scar down the side of my nose where I had a bit removed. Not nearly as bad as 53 stitches but the ones I did have hurt like a bastard coming out.
I'm not sure if that changed my attitude to growing old and wrinkles but after a period of being paranoid about it I decided to stop caring. The most I use is Factor 50 if there's a sign of sun. Roll on winter! |

i entered the hospital holding a wet flannel over my face to stop my bottom lip and left cheek falling off,
i looked like a sewn together human walking out of the hospital, black stitches, my parents totally freaked. i had been at a party and they didnt know it had happened until i returned home.
i was quite pragmatic about the whole thing, i suppose i was already in ownership of a strong identity.
i am glad though that the scarring is minimal..the most i get is a comment about part of my lip being missing...
and i cant whistle or blow up balloons..hardly soul destroying
dogs, love them, apart from poodles, which is another story..

That's a tough deal to go through. I'm glad it hasn't put you off dogs although I'm intrigued about the poodles.

And lecture people about sunbeds with my grotesque photo of the hole in my face that I made the surgeon take. |

poodles..briefly i have conscious flashbacks of the french resistance period, being a little boy running through woods delivering messages to those in hiding, i was a runner, used as they didnt usually stop and interrogate children.. one day a horse drawn carriage/ trailer, rolled through the forest it was guarded by 2 large standard poodles they were used as guard dogs of the people and goods being transported..anyway, the people set the dogs on me and i remember being mauled to death against a tree, by these two white poodles..
no im not mad, no ive watched no film to do with this, ive always had the 'memory'even before i knew about poodles being used as guarding carriage dogs..that's why i have a phobia of poodles xx |

Sounds harsh but I do think this is true! Lifestyle has a huge effect on the ageing process unfortunately! What you put inside has a huge effect on the outside - especially once you hit 40!
However - if you drink plenty of water and try a good anti-ageing product (boots No 7 is a good one) then this may help! X |

Same here. I'm 42. My sisters and brother are all younger than me and look older. I think timing of when you're conceived possibly plays a part in aging, the eggs were older for my younger siblings. |
