Yea the 3d isn't very good lol, I think you can get ocarina of time on the wii store, I think it's the best one but that's just my opinion, twighlight princess was pretty good on wii though |

not sure there's a compendium of zelda games, if there is i haven't heard of one. I don't rate the Nes games that much now i think about it, but if you're into 8bit games you might love them.
The sNes and n64 games are good. The wii one is the best what cuminya just mentioned actually...so good i forgot about it lol. I didn't have time to play it more than once coz i had a lot of little kids at the time. |

Nintendo deliberately made almost every instalment of the Zelda series on a different hardware device in order to maximise hardware sales. There all good fun though, even if they were overpriced on original release. |

Spent 100 happy hours, playing Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii. Great game.
Started Skyward Sword but didn't delve as far into it, cuz life got too busy. Might go back to it, someday.
Good thing is, you can now pick up games like ZTP on budget, for peanuts. |

If you want the old smes one link to the past download a snes emulator think the one i used was called zsnes or something similar if you like that type of game there was a few on the playstation. One was called illusion of time and the other allundra which i think is the best rpg ive played you can get epsx but its a bit fiddly to set up |

Usually you have to use the latest tool or ability straight away (say you get the arrows there'll be an arrow puzzle). So if you've just got something, or transformed into something, then use that ability to solve a puzzle.
Once you get Midna she gives you tips but tends to be useless sometimes. |

Had a look yesterday, £40 for a preowed game and nearly £200 for a game boy itself, how the fuck did that happen?

Some of beginning stuff can be a little tedious but it helps you master the controls. Once you realise that there's puzzles to be solved and things which need figuring out, it'll make sense.
When you've got Midna, you can start teleporting around the map - makes life easier. Horse-riding makes travelling a lot more fun, too.
There's plenty of guides and walk-throughs on the internet - they help. |

It's all about gameplay with Nintendo. While their competitors duel for console strength, Ninetendo make it about the games. It's about creating a world like no other and you don't heavy duty graphics to do that. |

Zelda II on the NES was shit. Hence why they never tried to base the sequel on its design. Oh and the cdi Zelda's were fucking awful |

"not sure there's a compendium of zelda games, if there is i haven't heard of one. I don't rate the Nes games that much now i think about it, but if you're into 8bit games you might love them.
The sNes and n64 games are good. The wii one is the best what cuminya just mentioned actually...so good i forgot about it lol. I didn't have time to play it more than once coz i had a lot of little kids at the time.
Might have to look on the virtual console then as I fancy the third one.
Has anyone played the newish ones, I don't really want to use the wii remote as I have tennis elbow, I like the idea of the rpg type "

A friend was recently given a Wii and started buying classic games, dirt cheap from CEX. ('Cheap' being from 25p to a couple of quid). Can also get bargain hardware there, too.
I've recommended the Zelda games to him, because I had so much enjoyment playing them, myself. |

I swear I've watched the new Breath of the wild's trailer about 50 times lol
its brought be back to the snes/n64 feeling that zelda always had for me.
A lot are saying it will be game of the year..it wont bring nintendo back into the powerhouse they were I dont really care.
I might play link to the past soon(emulated)
but definitely watch the breath of the wild trailer |

Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass are great for the DS as they are stylus driven rather than d-pad. Windwaker 'esque style to them.
Loved the 3DS link between worlds, it is the direct sequel to the snes' link to the past.
N64 has to be Ocarina of time
GB - Link's Awakening, without a doubt.
Game cube, original discs will work in the wii, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, as the sword is on the correct hand for this version, they flipped the game for the wii version. Link's left handed! |

minish cap and four swords(would have been great to play in multiplayer too!) were great too..just never found the time to play them all the way through(I have them on emulator anyway). Anyway, I'm delving into breath of the wild on launch day if I can...even buying a tv! |
