This morning a young lady stopped me and asked "Goddani small change please lady?" "Sorry, I havn't" I replied.

"Awrait paynd coins then." She piped up!!!

I had an old woman in front of me in the supermarket. She emptied her purse, & was about 40 odd p short. I said 'it's ok I'll cover that'. Then she goes 'And I need 20p for the bus!'. lol

A tramp came upto me in the street and said "Im starving man, need money for food" I'd just been in greggs and got a buy one get one free flapjack...

I said "You can have this" and he replied:

"Nah man, me don't like flapjacks..."

Obviously his drug dealer didn't take flapjack as an acceptable form of payment.

cheapest bus fare here is £1 and that's for only a couple of stops. Didn't she have a bus pass?

Yes she did. Cheapest fare here is £1:20, but pensioners used to pay 20p everywhere, until they made it free
