Yeah you lot!
Haha... following on from our coffee chat yesterday I'm curious if you have a special mug or maybe just a specific one that you always use. I have a variety but I find myself washing my favourite in between each coffee rather than using a different one.
My favourite is a seconds from Emma Bridgewater with little blue stars on it. It's more the shape I like though. It's got a wide bottom.
What does your favourite mug look like or do you just use the next one to hand? |

"Your such a copycat I put this thread up a few weeks ago don't you ever do a forum search
I alternate between my crazy cat lady mug and one with sheep on"
Haha... I usually do as well! I bet I posted in it too?! Fucking hell my memory is really getting worse! |

Never wash a mug if you're serious about coffee. A nicely seasoned mug makes the coffee better with each usage.
*note, I usually wash mine at the end of each day though. |

I live not too far from the Emma Bridgewater factory.....
My favourite is a mug I received from my ex/eldest on 4 Jan 2002 for my 1st day back at work after a far too short maternity leave. I keep it at home now as too many were getting broken at work & I'd be gutted if it broke.
My favourite work mug say I (heart) spreadsheets - a Xmas present from my secret Santa |

its the size that matters,
otherwise all my careful weights and measures go out the window and I have a crap cup of coffee.
Size matters in so many ways. |

We sell printed mugs and one person soaks them in water/bleach to clean them.... Glad the image does not wash off |

I have 3 or 4. Some monster size ones that I reserve for that 'long overdue coffee' or can't be arsed to make another in 3 minutes.
I was given a set that said 'im not a morning person' ceramic travel mug but great size
Come to think of it, 'I'm not a morning person' features on a fair few things I've been given

My favourite mug at home is a massive blue striped one from sainsburys. It holds 2 normal cups worth and is quite good at retaining the heat.
At work I have a cup with a work-related in-joke on it which a colleague made me. He missed an apostrophe though, so it annoys me a little bit every time I use it. |

My favourite mug is the one my little brother brought me a few years back (says "bad hangover" on the side then "again" on the bottom) and get angry if I find someone else using it without asking |

"My mug at work says 'Do I look like a fucking people person' on it. "
Hahahaha - want! (Perfect for me in HR )
Mug of choice at home is also Emma Bridgewater and at work a 'worlds greatest insomniac' mug, bought for me by the team on my return from mat leave (although it's not through choice that I'm ever awake at night! )

My ex's daughter got a photo mug made for me, with the love of my life pictured. (my classic LSE)
That's my mug at work.
At home I have a tigger one that was my favourite, due to size and the feel in my hand, until recently when my friend gave me a K-BHR radio station mug. |
