He needs one, the guy always looks like he's been dragged through a hedge backwards.

I hope he doesn't

He needs to stand for what he believes and judging by the archive footage, he's never been a natty dresser

I hope he doesn't. He seems to have very strong values that he is reluctant to compromise, I think he is better presented than Michael Foot at least.

the only thing I will give him credit for is he sticks to his guns. He'll wear his heart on his sleeve and most probably will not cower down to anybody. Kudos for that.

However I don't like his politics, and if he gets into power next election kiss goodbye to Great Britain.

I so respect people who don't cower down, however, I think if he stays leader, labour will be totally unelectable ?

Compromises have to be made in order to make changes and to be taken seriously

Do you think he would visit the Queen looking like he just walked out of Oxfam ?

I think that will be one compromise he'll make.

Smarten up a little.

Still totally unelectable though.

It depends to what extent you think the leader of the opposition is a major political player on the international stage. I don't think he needs to worry about it.

I think the opposition leader still visits other countries and other world leaders during the course of his duties.

There is a certain etiquette they all follow, don't you think ?

I love the idea of a new kind of politician but I'm afraid he'll soon buckle.?

Any colour socks with sandals is just wrong.

Tony Blair won the leadership with 57% of the vote. Corbyn won with 59.5%. People who have never bothered with politics became engaged and votes for him. Why people still think he's unelectable is strange.

And it's only day one - wait to he gets started on Cameron & Co

Apparently his son made him buy a new jacket for the leadership vote announcement.

It's a bit of a leap to go from someone saying that in some circumstances, a death in conflict is better than the alternative to implying that person is a gleeful warmonger cheering on the burial of bodies of innocent children. Stop putting words into people's mouths. I get it, you're a pacifist. Other options are available in the middle ground.

Returning to the testicle analogy. Presumably after attempting to reason with the mosquito, when it's bitten you on the bollock (because that's what mosquitos do) and then you've got malaria and are going to die, maybe a tiny little part of you might think you wish you'd just whacked it after all, even though it's going to hurt?

Tony Blair won with a widespread centrist appeal, that's a different proposition from Corbyn. I don't think he's unelectable at all, but it's not really a meaningful comparison.
