reading threw re_iews always leave me wondering how genuine these really are, they are so over the top about how amazing every one is. Some are seriously enthusiastic even if the profile looks terrible! is it just because we have yet to meet anyone and be re_iewed or is everyone as good as they are made out to be? |

"Re_iews.
I was thinking the same. Are we all being marked out of 10 now?! "
Fuck, I hope not. I was happy before because I thought I was being marked out of 5 |

Interesting perception OP. You make a good point.
I wonder if the verification system supports some newbies' _iews of what swingers are. A shopping catalogue of free fucks.

I have met one or two people before who had glowing verifications and I've thought "really?" But that could easily be because they clicked with that person and they had chemistry, and we didn't. |

We haven't got many but I like to think they're honest reflections of what the people we met thought , veris are just one way of getting a feel about a potential meet so they're not the be-all and end-all of things. Enjoy the site OP |

" just because they are new on this site doesn't mean new to this life and not all expect sex ,we are all looking for different things and have different likes and dislikes in a partner so the verifications apply solely to that person ,you just get the feel for wether they are nice or not ,not wether you fancy them or are suited sexually |

I am super amazing!
Haha... I'm kidding, but I do have a great smile. I don't believe in verifications, other than them telling me someone is real, they are of no use whatsoever.
I wouldn't decide to see a film based on someone else's re_iew of it. That person is nothing like me. Why would I take their word for a Bond film being the best thing they've ever seen when I know for a fact that I don't like James Bond? I wouldn't.
I quite like that you called them re_iews. That's exactly what they are in my mind and mine are nonsense. I'm real, but I rely on my instincts and I'm lucky that the people I've met do too. If someone asks if I want a re_iew I tell them it has to be silly. I like discretion and I don't need someone else telling everyone how good/bad/indifferent I am in the bedroom department. |

Apologies if my wording appeared that I was dissing the OP as people, that wasn't my intention. I thought it was a good point they made. I didn't mean they are the newbies with a certain _iew of swingers. I meant other newbies. Not all newbies.
I'm shit at explaining myself. |

That's a great example though... I knew exactly what you meant but I've had the chance to get to know your posting style.
Chatter last night really made me remember how I felt when I first went on another forum and there were a couple of posters who were so smart they intimidated the life out of me. I subsequently met both at a social and they were the most down to earth, funny people who made me feel totally at ease in their company even though they are indeed way smarter than I'll ever be.
I still consider what I'm saying before I post as to how it'll be read, it's just habit because there is no tone or expression which is why I always use the smilies. When someone new appears or I reply to someone I haven't encountered before, I hope that they have a sense of humour and can live with a bit of cheek but I try not to be offensive or write things that could be mistaken. It's tricky when you've been here a long time and you've seen it all before but I figure we all started somewhere so I do cut some slack with my sort of banter. Sometimes that's impossible and I take the piss but it's never with malice.
Maybe we should have a forum amnesty! |

I agree! I have no excuse though, I'm just as shit at explaining in real life.
I'm often there wittering on digging myself into a deeper and deeper hole and the other person is looking at me like this:

I was sent a verification to my phone previous to it being sent on the site. It was full of embellishment and all about how amazing I was. I told him no way was that going on my profile. |
