Do you sometimes find your day has been totally influenced by the threads that are sometimes posted here eg the hotlist thread etc

God no - its not my life! I do wander about some of the comments and have a laugh or grumble, but its only in the moment. Now the pace at work has picked up, I am logging in only to check messages for a few minutes at best - only time to dip into the forums now.

The people I know and am friends with from here do though, and usually in a positive way.

On the whole no.

However sometimes there are thought provoking threads that make me think about things when I'm not logged in. There's a thread about being gender fluid on the go next door and I've thought about that this morning.

Sometimes I giggle at other things when it crosses my mind later in the day but I don't find my moods influenced by an online life, real life does that.

I've only had one occasion where a certain thread got to me so I logged off and didn't come on for a week.

I wasn't in the right frame of mind & to be upset by something on here highlighted it for me.

a while back a woman on here did a thread that irritated me but in general I forget it all when I leave here x

Nope. A thread on here doesn't influence my mood.

But my mood influences what I write on threads at times lol.

It's really not worth letting an anonymous Internet forum have any influence on the way you feel (unless of course you get a nice meet off here then it's all good!)
