my brill pal(gorgeous too), is pregnant and having a girl..she asked me during the week for name suggestions..
I said Erin, but her pals daughters called that..
Today i thought Vanessa, as I texted her tonight I then thought of Vanessa Feltz. My pal texted back saying it made her think of Feltz, though she loves the name vanessa..
I'm thinking her child or others wont care as nobody will really care who vanessa feltz is or was a bit later in the future lol

"My daughters friends at primary school are Edeigh, Elizabeth, Erin, Rosie and Freya "
I like Elizabeth. It was my mothers name and is my daughters middle name. The royal family quite like it as well |

"Apparently, there was a couple in Hull who named their first daughter Clamidia "
No one in Germany is allowed to call their son Adolf. Its illegal
Not sure why tho |

I choose leila for my daughters name
but she also has lily within her name as well which was her grandma's name
though it did help having a girls name book to pick from same with the boys name book as well |

Martha is a lovely name
I love the 'old' names - and has been said previously Vanessa is an uncommon one - can only think of three - as have already been mentioned x |

"what's wrong with Vanessa Feltz ?
I like the names: Adelaide. Maddison. Chelsea, Paris and Pollock. "
Pollock? Looking down at a beautiful newborn baby girl.... 'Ah she looks just like a fish! Let's call her pollock!' Plus there's the rhyming slang aspect |

I like names which can be shortened, but where the child is actually named the full name. Like Ellie is not a name, it's short for Eleanor. Ditto Beth, Liv, Mia and so on.
I also quite like some traditional Welsh names but since I live in England I don't think I'd inflict a lifetime of people being unable to pronounce or spell it on a child. |

Make sure it's something normal eh??
Flower pot or chateauneuf du pap just doesn't cut it anymore.
Have a look out for lost names. There's a website I think that lists diminishing names from the past.
