Has anyone bought corsets from one of the Ebay shops. There seems such a wide variety of corsets and they are all really reasonable, they look gorgeous, too good to be true.
Has anyone bought one and do they look as nice as on the pics online.

Yup... I have and it was fab. Sadly too big for me now but it fit when I bought it. Can't remember the name of the shop though which isn't much help to you. Will have a rake through my emails and see if I can find it. |

I have bought plenty from there, some are fantastic, well made, well sized that last for ages without loosing any shape and some are just wear once types
It depends on how much money you want to spend on them, most I think have been good value for what ive paid |

We have and what we have had have been good, but maybe we been lucky. Friends of ours bought some sexy clothes off Ebay but the sizes were all wrong (too small) so Mrs R gained some lovely stuff.
We have also been lucky with "Fuck Me Shoes" Mrs R has many pairs that she bought on Ebay!
Just a thought though... We have noticed it is not as good a value place as it used to be. Now it is just like any online store for many items. People have got the idea that there is money to be made... Just be careful, don't get caught up in the bidding process and only bid ONCE at the last seconds... Lose it? Tough try again somewhere else, but at least you won't over pay like a few have on our auctions... Woooohoooo |

Ive got to admit I can get caught up in the bidding wars thing. I get that its not about the item but about the winning, and whos the biggest loser then - me cos ive got something Ive paid over the odds for.
Some of the corsets Ive seen look fantastic. Ive usually bought then from underwear shops, and I have them from Ann Summers too, and Ive paid around the £50 mark. My problem is my boobs, I cant always get them in a corset, and it hurts to squash them down |

Never go for plastic bones unless you just want it for one night which is what I do sometimes, they're crap |

I get made to measure ones from Voller and Co usually but bought a Dita Von Teese one through Love Honey, (few years ago) which was a very reasonable price, steel boned and is holding up well. |

Keep your eyes open on ebay for a second hand " Vollers " corset... just about the best you can buy..
Usually the sizes are 2" below your waist size...
Fairygoth mother are also good gear as are Axfords...
But... all the best corsets are Steel Boned |

Check out 'steampunk' style clothing on ebay, this category can bring up a lot of the styles you mention. xxxx |

Not everything made in China or Far East is low quality, and it would be hard push to find anything that is not made there or has some components that orginate from there nowadays.
If one wants quality, then be prepared to pay upwards of 150 GBP for a good basic corset. One may be lucky to get a basic one for under 100 GBP for a made in UK Voller corset during the sale! |

I really would love a made to measure steel boned corset with proper lacing and not just flimsy ribboning. One day I will treat myself to this. Where I would get the use of it though god only knows. Photographs would be good, but then I may as well go to a photographer specialising in vintage style photographs who supplies period clothing, cos steel boned corsets are not designed to play, I would imagine it would be far too consticting |
