There was a sex gang in Aylesbury jailed this week. Some major failing on all levels.
It's very sad to know it's just the tip of the iceberg.

I think statistics have shown that children are safer now than they were in the 70s despite the Daily Mail hysteria. Today these things get more media attention and therefore it might appear that this country is getting worse. |

You can blame the internet, or broken familied, poverty or Politics but in the end, these people are making choices.
They are adults, aware of right and wrong but do as they please, regardless of the suffering and damage they cause. Blame Human nature and selfishness. How can we change that? |

I'm not bothered about the percentages it's the fact it's happened to someone. Don't get me wrong it's nice to know. |

You know, my mind won't let me think about it to much, its so unreal that human beings can behave in such a manner.
I just hope against hope the ones that are to young to remember now don't suffer trauma in later life and the ones that can remember I hope can find peace.
Little innocent lives taken away from them. |

Agreed but there's not a lot Brits can do about overseas perverts.
Is it time to revisit UK sentencing policy or look at how the CPS / COPFS work out charges? |

Its interesting now we see regular convictions for this sort of thing it somehow means its getting worse. This sort of thing is old, very old, like documented by the romans old. If anything, the recent spate of high profile investigations means its getting better. |
