I was a member of alt.com (believe me this is NOT a promotion). I left there because in the sub-fora I joined, I found a mass of troubled egos (owners/moderators of the groups). Now I'm in FL I'm finding the same damn thing. Freedom of speech my arse!

freedom of speech went out of the window years ago, i know the fish site blocks swear words all us brits do is mis spell them and they get pass the moderators

They're is no freedom of speech, at least not in the UK constitution.

We're entitled to express our opinions, but in a way that doesn't offends others. A tricky line to walk sometimes

They don't do a bad job but I do often feel that this site too can be over-moderated. It's not their fault, it's the site rules.

This is exactly why I have an issue with modern feminism. Thoughts explained on the everyday sexism thread.

Feminists (at least some) hate anything that can be seen to offend women. I call it oversensitivity

A lot of them on the sites mentioned above
