It's thew random things I have a fault on my phone - so they tell me to download some software to back it up before resetting it, but the software won't recognise it! So they tell me to install an app top help them do it remote;y, but because of the fault that won't install! You could go entirely mad!    |

Have to love technology though personally I'd not want to give anyone remote access to any of my stuff. Once they're connected remotely they can browse your phone or computer contents. If you have all your phone numbers and pics stored on a memory card you should be ok to update phone software and still retain all your personal stuff. Please don't blame me if it all goes wrong though  |

Well exactly lol!! I've got all the pics downloaded and the address book, so it should be Ok to restore to factory. The music is just my entire computer playlist so that's OK too.
The only thing that worries me is if i can't restore the contact list. I guess I might lose my whatsapp conversations too. |
