We don't like being rude and always reply to message's but can't seem to get the message across that we aren't interested . How does everyone else reply when they get messages from people that don't interest them |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
If they have sent a decent message (not just, Fancy a fuck) then I will reply saying they are not for me and wishing them well. Otherwise I just delete the message.
The one liners can be read without opening them.

I think a popular one is like yours op, coupled with a block - to prevent repetition or comeback.
Some will forget who they've messaged and you'll cycle through the process, unless blocks are used, as harsh as it may appear. Others don't like what they hear and become troublesome. |

Just delete and block if they become persistent and annoying after you already turned them down. |

For us it depends on the message received. If it's more than a quick one liner and the sender has gone to the effort of looking at our profile then we'll respond. Assuming it's someone who doesn't interest us we'll thank them for their mail and wish them luck.
One liners we ignore.
Repeat mailers who don't get the message we block. |

we have a similar line at the end of our profile - but we do send a sorry not for us but happy swinging kind of message - most say thanks but if we get a comeback we just block - the more they go on the more we know we made right choice |

How does everyone else reply when they get messages from people that don't interest them " harsh as it seems your only option is to block their are a lot of very abrupt people on here women as much as men ,women are so because of the amount of message traffic which feeds their egos disproportionate to their looks and personality ,men by virtue of the frustration of endless messaging with no replies or success so just block people who aren't coming across in a way that suits your purpose ,it doesn't always work because the more persistent start another profile |

I usually reply to the first message with a polite no thanks.
If they reply with anything other than "ok, no worries" or similar I just delete or if they become abusive I'll block and report them. |

I know what you mean. "thanks but no thanks" or "sorry not for me" tends to be my reply. But they usually respond with "that's ok your my type, want to meet" or whatever variation of not getting it.
I currenlty have 13 in my inbox like that. I dont like to block if thr havent done anything wrong but they just keep messaging no matter how much i ignore and dont open the messages |

I tend not to bother sending initial messages any more - when you've seen one "no thanks" you've seen them all. Still, on the extremely rare occasions when I do, I always send a quick message to those polite enough to reply thanking them for taking the time to say "no thanks" and wish them a happy life - it's possible one or two might see that as pestering but hey ho. |

There's no good way to say no thanks to single men on here so i dont bother anymore. Just block and move on. No matter what you say they will always have a "But...." reply in an attempt to convince you they're the best guy you'd ever meet. It gets really tiresome really quickly so hit the block and have a smile instead. |

For me it's not that I get loads of messages, but if someone I've never spoken to is sending me a message asking for a fuck (only ever get random out-of-the-blue requests from couples and fellas) then they have obviously not taken the time to read my very very short profile. So, I just delete.
If you multiply that to the volume of messages that ladies get, they have to delete en masse. |

If I message someone and they're not interested, I appreciate a 'no thank you'. I think not replying at all is personally rude. However if they then get pushy or asking why, blocking is fair. |

Try managing my inbox for a day and replying "No thanks" to every guy that hasn't read my profile and even the ones that have. It's not rudeness that stops me replying. It's time and energy and experience of the abuse on here that stops me. It's easy to say you'd reply to every message when you get 1 or 2 a day. Try doing thatv for 150 plus. |

I agree to this I've blocked lots of people and have it on my profile to block me if not interested I think it's a tool to stop unwanted messages/wasting each other's time as much as it is to avoid the loons |

For me....I don't tend to get mails - I blocked single guys to stop a certain amount
If I get someone that comes up to me in a club and they are not what I am looking for then a thanks but no thanks usually works
If I get a no reply or a thanks but no thanks I get the message. |

I simply say...'thankyou but you are not quite what I am looking for...or you are not quite my type'...hard to be more honest but also diplomatic than that.
I am never offended and actually greatful for at least receiving this kind of reply...much better than just being deleted..
btw...you would not get that kind of reply from me |

Honestly, I think people need to get a sense of perspective. I delete probably 90% of the messages I get which I'm not interested in. If it's a really nice message or seems like they could have spent a lot of time on it I'll send a nice thanks but no thanks type reply. Maybe this comes across as abrupt to the 90% but it's not like I'm punching them in the face.
When I'm messaging people I'd rather they just delete so I know the score, what's the point in an inbox full of messages telling me people aren't interested?
However I'm sure a lot of those who get deleted think I'm one of those women who has had my ego overinflated disproportionally to my looks, and I'm just rude.
But honestly, I really really really can't be arsed to sit and reply to them all. |

I really detest that comment (I know you're only quoting it). The insinuation that any "ugly" woman having preferences or standards clearly suffers from an over-inflated ego and should be grateful for any offer of a fuck we can get, as clearly our standards must drop outside of Fab where other's can see how "Hunchback Of Notré Dame" we clearly are.
Usually made by butt-hurt guys who thought they were doing us a favour by punching below their weight. |

Personally if I get a reply saying no thanks the courtesy of a reply even if it is to say no is appreciated.
Others who delete with out a reply, well I can take a hint and don't bother them again.
Some however don't respond and also don't delete my message and that confuses my little peanut brain, are they interested are they not.
In that case I tend to send another message stating if I don't receive a reply then I don't pester them again, I would hate to think people thought I was a pest.
I will always show manners and a degree of class, why get nasty with folk who are not interested it achieves nothing. |

oh and love the new profile pic .
Seems I ever only get one fancy a fuck message once a month from a local ts, just making sure I've not changed my mind. But they are local and give me smile when she passes the shop , so I'm happy to smile along.... I'm pretty sure I've never sent a ' I want to meet you' message they sound pretty pointless if I do write it's only people from here and I usually make the message closed ended so a reply isn't necessary . |

If the person is reasonable they will accept it. When I get such a rejection (quite often as it happens) I usually respond with "Thanks for the reply, good luck in finding what you're looking for." or words to that effect. |

I would normally reply with "no, thanks - looking for different things" which is intended to put an end to the conversation and usually it does. If people then want to know what it is I am looking for, I find this a tad irritating because I am not looking for people who are trying to find out what I want in order to present themselves as that! So I tend not to reply.
When I get messages from married/ attached guys (sadly still a fair few) I no longer reply unless the original message is about something other than watning to meet. |
