Good evening Fabbers and friends.
I promise i will try to be brief this evening .
The Pooch and I have noticed that some get a tad disconsolate with the pick another fabber threads posted recently.
So to cheers us all up and for a stroll down memory lane. Our question for you all this evening is this one .
What song was playing when you had your first slow dance ?
This may hark back to the halcyon days of school discos or summer holiday romances
Mine was
True by Spandau Ballet, in a school disco
Now yours

I can still remember my first slow dance but not the song, I think I was about 9-10 at school, After picking up the courage to dance with her every thing was going well until I looked over her shoulder and saw my dad grinning at me and I fell to bits with embarrassment
I haven't kept in touch with her but she is now married with children and I think she is a doctor, oh and she looks stunning |

He had come to pick me up and was standing in the corner with the other parents, I still don't show emotion in front of my parents maybe it had a lasting effect on me |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I know who I had my first slow dance with but I can't remember what was playing. It was well before the end of the last century, after all.
My last slow dance was nearly two years ago to a live crooner and a piano in a bar in Belfast. The song was Have I Told You Lately That I Love You. It was a most perfect night.
