think im changing

not sure if its my age - or that im more settled now that i have a job that i feel secure in - or because kids have pretty much fled the nest - but ive started to tittivate the house up a tiny bit - only a bit of decorating as thats all the purse will stretch to - but i always had strong colours about me - deep red in the lounge - dark teal in the bedroom - lots of deep purple bits and bobs - now im going all pale grey and pink - even my daughter said but you never had pink in the house - i looked at my wardrobe and its full of pastels and lacy stuff - maybe im becoming feminine ................ at last

I caught the dreaded beige about 7 years ago. It's time for some of it to go!!!

I want to brighten it up a bit but struggling with where to start!

its worse than catching the beige its more like...oh i like that floral bedspread or dang that picture of pastel sweet peas is nice...not only that but shhh ive wanted to keep putting nail varnish on and the feeling that actually i want to wear a dress seriously if you knew me youd be going wtf...hehehe

Pink has never done it for me but I did consider a big pink themed bedroom when I became single just because I could!! I'm thinking duck egg blue & butterflies for my bedroom

ha, im classifying it as a 'phase' we are all allowed them right?..dont know how long it will last, that way, i can just pass it off later on if i need too..this classification is seeing me through my inner turmoil..a coping mechanism if you like...lolol

Ah my dad has a gorgeous birdy wallpaper in his hall & it looks great. His house is far better decorated than mine!!
