Because reasons? Some people just don't have the balls to reply with "no thank you, I don't actually fancy you". It takes a lot to actually do that, as some people don't want to offend I guess.
As for some people asking for face pics but not having any, yeah its silly, but as a single guy you've got a lot more worries on here :p C xx |

Because the women don't want to be rejected as they have had to many no's and feel they got the upper hand doing it this way lol and they know they are sought after so might feel they don't need one. |

Had a man message us this morning. Keen to meet us. Asked if he had a face pic. As his profile may as well have been a blank canvas. Nothing there. his reply was. "yea. Do you". If he is going to get sarky. He gets a block |

They block you coz they don't fancy you. It's easier than to have a guy start asking loads of questions about why you don't fancy them. Not saying you'd ask but people just don't want the hassle of risking you might not. |

Understand that women can ask but surely if the ask for a face pic they can just easily say no ty and then block , we all know ladies have lots of mail. |

i don't generally get asked, my mug is slapped all over my profile, and i've never had issue with getting them, normally before i ask one gets sent over... |

We only send a face pic, once we have seen single mans pic, AND we would be interested in taking things further, we never send pics 1st to a single man
We will send face pics and introduce ourselves to a couple if we like what we have seen and read on profile |

My face is visible and I ask for a face pic because I like to facially fancy a guy. And I also have the balls to say I don't fancy him. Far better to be honest than lie imho  Saves everyone from wasting time. |

Of course but in fabland, where it's easy to get many tens of messages a day, an emphasis on expediency is helpful. A photo helps someone to choose between you and the person who's already provided a. Few, so doing so keeps you in with a chance.
You'll not get most attempts replied to with no thanks explanations. It is how it is. |

Don't see it that way at all. Especially when the majority of single men have no pics at all on profile. You get to see plenty of body on ours. nothing left to imagination apart from face pics. Which we send happily to people we would like to meet. Usually plenty of pics on a couples profile. Just swap face pics if all interested. And we get turned down by couples too. Not a problem. But why would the female send face pics to any random single. Especially if they live local to us. And we don't travel more than roughly 15 miles to meet a single man. Our preference |

Of course not. How silly a concept. A female member of a couple send a single male a pic indeed. As if.
... Is exactly the attitude which means I never have entertained the idea of meeting with a couple on here for sex. I keep seeing this attitude in the messages I get from couples (and it's them messaging me) and I find it very rude. |

To answer the OP it's probably because they did not fancy you.
We've tried diplomatic answers before but it just raised more questions.
But that was from a couple.
We never ask for face pics but sometimes they are volunteered without asking.
As for people having face pics it's their choice.
We tend to have first meets at clubs so it's not like a fake couple will get far that way.
Meeting 1 on 1 would always be a second date.

If we choose to make first contact with anyone (be that a couple, single woman or man) then we will always attach our face pic with the message. If they are interested we would then ask for one in return.
If someone chooses to contact us first (regardless of their gender) then we would expect them to send theirs first. If we were then interested, we would send ours.
Not saying we are right but it's what works for us.
