Anyone could win if they had his car. Personally, I hope he crashes out in every race

What a silly throw away comment, anyone would think Lewis is running away with......he's only 28 points ahead.

Love my F1, too many daft rules now though, the grid drop penalties are a joke.

Me thinks car related problems should result in constructors points being deducted. And driver penalties left for driver errors....

to be fair to hamilton, there isn't a great deal that he could do about it... and it not really something he controls....

to be fair it is only the left rear that is the issue... and it was only 0.2psi below the limit.... and all the tyres are checked and certified as being legal before going on the car

But as they are saying it's still below and illegal and it's 0.3 for Hamilton and 1.1 for Rosberg and as the man himself as just said they push to the limit. ..probably pushed too far

in which case take the points away from the constructors but not away from the driver.... that way it hits them where it hurts as the big money is for mercedes in the constructors championship....

hamilton was so far away from everyone all weekend that if you penalise him a stop/go penalty... he still wins the race

Then why do Mercedes pay him £31 million a year? If anyone could win if they had his car they could pay another driver a fraction of that.

I don't get the Hamilton haters. Sure he can be arrogant but so are many of the previous champions.

He is English and we don't have that many world champions so be proud of him.

Hamilton is a winner. He likes to win. He doesn't like losing. To him anything other than winning is failure. Historically not many English sportsmen and women think like this, which is why we tend to win fuck all and are always way too happy and content with seconds and thirds and just the taking part. Let's celebrate a true winner. This guy's the real deal. He'll go down as one of the greats.

Spot on, who likes losing? Anybody?

In this country we celebrate mediocrity in sport........look at athletes and minor sport where you hear commentators say 'congratulations on making the final' even if they came last 'well done on coming 16th' and so on.

Champions hate losing, they're miserable when they do, so what? That's a good thing, it shows they want to win all the time surely?

Exactly. As someone once said...second place is just first of the losers.
