We're all human beings it's whether we possess humanity or not and in my opinion humane behaviour should extend to all sentient beings.
However I also think that humanity should be tempered with the wisdom to apply it for the greater good of.everyone involved.

Whether we care to admit it or not human beings come in so many guises . From Mother Teresa and Jesus Christ , to Fred West and Adolf Hitler .
So the simple answer is that no matter what and how humans behave , they are ( in some cases regrettably ) all human .
Some humans do all they can to help others , and some do fuck all . It doesn't make them less of a human does it . Because we are all given free will , and what we so with that free will determines what kind of a human being we are .
