I use proper hair clippers for my face and pubes - those body groomers and facial hair trimmers are terrible.

I got a babyliss one, it's pants no matter what setting you have it on it always trims the same length

I shave my head every couple of weeks, my advice would be to spend good money the cheap trimmers (i.e. babyliss) are crap. Wahl/Braun are pretty decent. For the body you can buy specialist designed trimmers, not used one but they might be alright.
