The hammer mechanism on the fire bell that I'm trying to repair remains stuck after cleaning and a liberal dose of px24.
Apart from a one-for-one replacement, what suggestions would fellow fabbers have?
Thanks in advance |

"Don't talk bollocks- if it did that they wouldn't have invented gaffer tape "
Duct tape is sometimes sold packaged with WD40. Perhaps lube and tape is the answer to everything. |

That's because:
If something moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape.
If something doesn't move and it should - WD40. |

My old foreman used to fix leaking pipes (sometimes ones that transported caustic soda or certain acids) with duct tape. It worked until it leaked again, and the work order was assigned to the next free fitter - who then fixed it properly. Lazy bugger. |
