We are constantly asked to support local independent businesses yet some seem to have no interest in the local community apart from wanting us to spend out money with them.
A pub near one of my houses is being re developed as a restaurant and the builders have simply dumped their rubbish in an alleyway behind the premises which is a public right of way . If a builder or tradesman is prepared to fly tip rubbish , it makes me wonder what other regulations they are breaking . Whilst I have reported the issue to the council , they may not be able to take action as the fly tipping is on private ground .
It is a little disappointing that none of the independent businneses close by have taken any action to prevent this . In the past I have had to hire a skip to remove fly tipped rubbish.
I always report fly tippers and believe we all should . I has a fly tipping taxi driver threaten to cut my ear off .!!!
At least large muti - site businnesses do not fly tip and they also adhere to the rules. |

Are you sure all of their sub-contractors are adhering to the rules? I've found that some of the larger ones don't care as long as the price they are paying is low enough and the sub-contractor is the one breaking the rules.

They all can readily flout rules, whether mis-selling goods, meat etc or pollution. Fly Tipping is awful but our world is heavily polluted. Look at coca cola etc and how they impact the environment.
