We own both the Lelo and a Hitachi. The Lelo is rechargeable but has less power. The Hitachi requires being plugged in all the time but is substantially more powerful. ( It will also last years. Our last one lived for 9 years before we had to replace it.) We would recommend starting off with the Hitachi.
