If you work in an office what is your pet peeve?
Mine is people who come in late, then tell everyone about their goings on last night , then they make a brew before sitting down. |

I like the window open. I don't like it when someone from the other side comes and closes the one I sit next to. Especially without asking. I'll just open it again, anyway. |

Or when the office manager hasn't prepared the conference rooms properly. Or stocked the cupboards with clean mugs/cutlery. It's embarrassing when clients come in unannounced. Or when she won't give me scissors as my team has had enough. Or she "forgets" to post stuff.
Tbh she's shit at her job and I miss the old one. |

The people who stand and chat for ages and no one says anything.
I'd do it and be told to get back to work.
Dress down fridays and some people come in onesies.
When someone's on a diet. They tell everyone and then the next week they've quit.
When people who've had coffee and invade your personal space and breathe on you. (boak)
When people bring their kids in then moan when you nearly spill a tray of hot drinks on them
I hate offices. Can you tell? |

The worst, most demoralising and misery making aspect of any office I've ever worked in are the whingers and moaners. It's always too hot, too cold, stuffy, too much work, not enough work, there's one in nearly every office and they can really bring the place down if you let them. |

Oh god way too many to list all mine but up there are
People who use the last of something...last spoon of coffee, last copy of paperwork, last bit of bog roll, last bit of stock in the cupboard without alerting anyone to reorder.
Bastards who leave the photocopier jammed for someone else to unjam
People who shout down the phone and get louder and louder so much so they don't need a phone as the person they called could hear them 50 mlies away
Dirty cup leavers and kitchen spillage wipe-shy knobs
And last but not least managers who have had common sense labotomys...They should be shot at with staple guns and hole punched in the foreheads

I don't mind chatting to waste away the time but sometimes I actually have a lot of high pressure shit to do.
