Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've been sort of watching this.

One couple has kept the placenta attached to their baby. I've never heard of that before. I've been to a placenta planting and I know someone who ate theirs. This couple sprinkle it with herbs and stuff.

The dolphin birth couple have been blowing a didgeridoo at the pregnant belly.

Did you do anything unusual with your pregnancy and birth?

"My 3rd child was born on the front seat of my car"

Was that planned?

I imagine that was faster than you expected.

Mostly in GU24

They were all a bit odd, don't you think? All very peculiar. That lotus birth nonsense is ridiculous. All other mammals chew theirs off so what makes these people think it's ok to carry a potential infection risk around with your brand new baby?!

The dolphin group. Mad. That is all.

The glam mum: how shallow.

The home birth three weeks overdue: they were extremely lucky to have a live birth. It could all have gone so wrong. Bonkers.

I'm all for labouring at home; I arrived at hospital 10 cm dilated with all of my three kids. My son would have died if I hadn't got to hospital five mins before he was born: the cord was wrapped tightly twice round his neck. Thank god it only took 2 pushes to deliver him!

That's the whole point of the programme but normally they have a balancing, more normal case to present alongside the different ones.

That sounds like something you'd read about in the Daily Star

I think I was pretty lucky with the births of all 3 of my children.

My first was pretty traumatic and I felt like I had no say in anything that happened. They treated me like I was some silly wee girl because I was 17. He got a bit distressed in the end and I had to be taken to theatre just in case.

I really wanted a home birth with my 2nd but my blood pressure stopped that. He was breach and born hand first.. I signed us out at midnight as I didn't want to stay in hospital and was determined to stick to my birth plan of 6 hour discharge

My 3rd was almost born in the car park, he was so fast. I had him at 9 am and we left hospital at lunch time.

I loved giving birth. I'm strange maybe.

I sky plussed it.... Gonna haul myself out of bed and waddle to the shower, then down to watch it..... Think it might do me good to see some ridiculous births just to balance out my probably very medically intervening one.....
