I often read on here how people won't ever lower their standards and will only ever sleep with people they fancy (and quite right too!) but have you, or would you, ever 'take one for the team' to keep your partner happy as a one-off?
Eg if your hubby or wife was really into someone you were meeting but you were just a bit 'meh' about their other half, would you still go through with it to please them (ie putting their enjoyment above your own?)
Now I'm expecting the stock answer to be 'never, we both need to find an attraction' or 'my partner wouldn't expect me to sleep with someone I didn't fancy' but I'm wondering if, and under what circumstances, sometimes you'll relax those rules (perhaps unknowingly to your partner) to ensure your loved one had a good time?
No particular reason for asking, just being nosey  |

Possibly, if she really really wanted it. In theory at least, never found myself in that position so it's hard to say about reality.
But only as a one off (if it became recurring then yes, I'd have a problem I think) and only if the other party wasn't too rank!
I kind of think of it like playing 'wing man' for a mate when you'll chat up the plain friend of the hot girl he's trying to pull .... |

No, we wouldn't. The issue for us is that the experience is as much about the other couple as it is about us. If one of us isn't into a person in the other couple, it wouldn't be very enjoyable for them either.
Having said that, its not like we will both only be with idyllic human beings. We aren't perfect and neither is anyone else. We are having sex with them, not getting married.

I did.
At a club with a lady - we were together for the night (shared hotel room afterwards), but weren't a couple as such.
After a bit of chat with another couple in the jacuzzi, she gave the M a BJ, while the F watched and said very little.

It's about the pleasure for each other as much as our own , so if my wife wants me to try something I will if it's what she wants to see . Regardless of whether I fancy it or not . And vice versa on plenty of occasions .
Now let me say something here , despite it not being a scenario that may be high on the list of desires as an individual - seeing each other enjoying watching , and getting so turned on ,makes it equally as horny as doing something one may choose as a personal favourite .
I guess until you've done it it's hard to explain , but when you are a couple you want to make the experience wonderful for all parties , and sometimes this works really well |

Not keen on the phrase, taking one for the team. However, yes, we both have on a couple of occasions back when we were still finding our feet.
I've no doubt that we have been on the receiving end of it too on occasions.
We've learnt what works for us and what doesn't. It's something that we wouldn't do again.

No never if it costs us a meet so be it. For us is not a numbers game so it's no biggie any way. Besides that's what parties are for as they allow these sort of connections to be made sometimes. |

Finding partners that you both find equally attractive can be difficult so occasionally you have to compromise like you have to in most walks of life.

Yes I have the once. Our first couple we met on my couoles profile. Would I do it again? Hell no. The trouble is I am far more fussy than what he is. After I did it I could have kicked myself, as I would never have met the guy from my single profile. |

No I wouldn't ask Mr N to do that and I wouldn't ask it of myself. I would feel bad about myself if I had sex with someone I didn't fancy and I think it would be patronising and disrespectful to the person I had sex with.

I have once at a swingers hotel in Blackpool although it did have a happy ending.
