What is your relationship with the natural world, do you feed birds, spend time in natural places, have a wildlife garden, or support a charity. I've had a positive relationship since I was a child, it's always provided comfort for me and a stability I never had in human relationships, so I always treat nature kindly as a thank you.
Tell us all about you and Nature. |

in the suffolk countryside |
nature and sorcery are the same. both impersonal and unconditional,
in the face of the human condition...
as the silent witness nature has a state of grace which is inclusive, yet detached from illusion...so indeed, does the sorcerer

Kids are always much more in tune with nature than adults, with their instinctive existence before cognitive processes take over. As an adult I felt very removed from the natural world, existing in my boxes (house, car etc) and I felt very dissatisfied and disconnected. Since retraining as a gardener that restless uneasiness has faded a lot, but it hasn't been completely eradicated. Oh to be a child! |

It's that enquiring mind that's missing, the sense of wonder, I've thankfully never lost that, it's obviously not as intense as it was then, but I still pertain enough to keep that connection open. |

"Nature is a cruel unforgiving bitch with an appetite for destruction.
"
That is all of the human mind, labels added to nature, what nature really is, just is. |

Nature is amazing, you can't beat sitting in the open watching birds and animals living their lives.
I defy anyone not to be in awe of a bumblebee or not smile when they see a duck walk. |

I recently moved house and annoyingly I'm struggling to attract the birds at the moment. I can see them and hear goldfinches and tits flying over but they're yet to pop in for a visit. I need more cover / foliage. I have a small wild pond too which has frogs, newts and a pond lilies.
I do enjoy heading out walking in scenic areas too getting fresh air and enjoying the views ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I lived in the countryside through my childhood, where we spent each day outdoors. I've many trees planted as a child, some of which now have their own children.
My garden is a haven for wildlife, with birds, amphibians and all welcome.
I'm more of a natural world inhabitant than townie and spend time each week connected with it. Refreshing, revitalizing and healthy. |

Im looking out the window at the birds on my feeders right now. If Im feeling down the sight of the birds bathing in their bath always makes me smile. An overwhelming feeling of peace washes over me when Im walking in the countryside or by the sea. I love nature ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |
