I've seen quite a few slut shaming posts recently and it's really got my back up and most of them have been written by women.
Surely this is the one place this shouldn't occur.

I think it is down to one or more of:
envy
bitterness
loneliness
a desire/need to feel superior
subconscious guilt
prejudice
showing off
an urge to post something even when they have nothing productive to say.
At one time or another I have had some of these feelings, but tried not to inflict them on others! |

I've only seen one topic that could be seen as slut shaming. The OP just doesn't want to be treated as a slut and didn't like to see, what she felt, was other women encouraging men to treat her like one. And it was more as topic asking peoples opinions on what they thought about her thoughts. |

The only topics about sluts I've seen have been from women with names like cumdumpslut4u complaining that men want to treat them like cum dumps...how very dare they, the bastards!!! 
We are here looking for sex with strangers yet some will saddle up and mount their high horses and without a trace of irony or self awareness moralise to people doing the same thing they are!

Slut shaming happens a lot on Here but not so much in the forums... We used to get told when we first got together that people wouldn't meet us as the female half was to much of a slut. Despite the fact that my verifications were over a good few years and Mr had the same amount roughly in less than 2 years....
Even got called a slut at a gg event by another girl there... So it happens... |

I think it's sad that women tend to be the greatest critics of other women, and that we can't support each other, but ever has it been thus. I don't see it changing any time soon. |
