00:45 sitting in my car and I flick the ignition and date comes up as 1/9/15. Wow where did all the time go? Bought back a memory from childhood think it was the 1st of August 1988 and we were in greenwich and we wanted to see how many new F-Reg cars we could spot. Can't belive that was 27 years ago. |

I'd of had a 65 plate civic type R if we wasn't starting building work on our house next week. I said I'd never buy another new car after getting one on a 63 plate, but I could make an exception for this

I remember seeing an M reg MG the first I'd seen that day in 1973!! Family trip through the cotswolds and saw we followed it down the hill outside Stow on the Wold.
Now that does seem a very long time ago!! |

my kids can drive now and the latest thing we do ( i know we will never grow up here) is if we see a number plate with our initials - or name (all have 3 letter names) we photo it and send to each other - see who gets the better car - sort of a top trumps thing - |

Yep still do this too. Also sometimes the. And guess where I will be driving to when the next 1000 miles tick over. |

But I also remember being able to recognise car makes and models from their headlights in the dark
