"What are the best birthday gifts to give a special someone?
I'm terrible at buying gifts "
I've found lingerie, perfume, handbag or shoes to be a winner...if it's all 4 you're on bonus good books territory |

I'd like:
Scarves (posh ones, like a Libertys one)
Perfume
Shoes
Dinner
Theatre
Day trip
Drinks out at a favourite bar
Or something silly
It depends on how much you'd like to spend, and your relationship. |

I tend to stay away from clothing/shoes as gifts. But I do like the scarf idea and you can't go too wrong with perfume.
How about an item of jewellery? Watch/bracelt/necklace?
Think I'll stay away from rings |

I don't like being bought jewellery as I don't wear it often, and prefer to pick my own pieces. Plus I tend to wear one of my Swatch watches more often than a proper piece.
If I had the option, I'd choose an experience with the person as opposed to an item. It's nice to share memories. |

Someone special means there is something special and personal. For him, recently, I bought a personalised gift basket of thoughtful buts and pieces that I knew he liked ... some silly, some practical, but all to show that I knew what he likes, wants and needs ... nothing rude though ... plus a few bigger things and a meal. Think about something special for that person |

Best gift I regularly get from a special is him managing to arrange things so we can have a glorious few days together when I'm off work and around his schedule so we travel all over the country. That's always exactly what I want. |

Hmmm....special someone? Would it need to be a discreet present not to be found out?
Depends on budget but a day/night/weekend somewhere special to her means you've put thought & effort into it.
Jewellery wise, maybe diamond stud earrings or if she has a charm bracelet maybe choose some or give vouchers so she can add to her collection? Or if she hasnt got one buy a bracelet & a charm to start her off?
Good luck anyway & let us know what you opt for? x |
