Frickin useless woman!!!! Grrrr
My 23yr old daughter is visiting my ex's family and fell out with her useless waste of space mother again!
Someone had a go at her mum when they were on a night out pointing out how little effort she's made over the past 22 years.
She tried blaming me. Big error. My daughter ripped into her then rang me in tears.
I've never said anything bad about her even though she left me when my daughter was 16 months old. She's never paid any maintenance, sent cards or bothered to see her.
Obviously a long complicated story which I shan't bore you all with.
Frickin useless woman!

She's tiny. She's beautiful. She's mega intelligent and I've taught her to stand up for herself and those who can't.

As i have told my ex husband in the past, i don't have to slag you off for the kids to know what a waste of space you are, you let them down enough on your own for them to know! It came back to bite him on the arse too!!!

I'm ranting because I've never slagged my ex off before. I've moaned a bit to my mother on occasion. I cried into my pillow a few nights at first but that passed.
I'm ranting because she's hurt my daughter. She made her cry.
She'll be home later tonight. Big hug will be waiting her. One of those all enveloping hugs where you disappear into your parental safe place and smell all those familiar smells and know nothing can touch you.  |

Hope your daughter is safe and sound and soon back with you.
Discussions like the above should be kept for times put aside for it. A night out shouldn't be ruined by it.
As for the rellies 'having a go' their energy would have been better smoothing things over.
If your daughter wants to get to know her mum I hope there's a time when they can speak without anger.

The someone was another 'rellie'.
My daughter has been trying to get some kind of relationship for years.
When we split my ex saw her once a few months later and brought her home several days early.
I met up with her then boyfriend a few years later and he told me how she just wanted to go out drinking rather than seeing our child.
She dropped off the scene for seven years until my daughter asked me to track her down. Which I did. Her relationship with the rest of that side of her family is fairly good. It's just her mum who's too self centred.
She's had two more children since and by all accounts they are wild, disrespectful, rude products of a useless mother.
Like many single parents, I wish I'd found a better person to have children with. I eventually found my soul mate and between us we have brought up both hers and my two children. Yes; I picked a second dud who gave me my other daughter. She was abusive and I had a real fight to get my second daughter safe.
