Blocked yet they have sent me a friends request!

Quick question: I have blocked someone who was a friend, yet they have since sent me a friends request. Should this be possible?

Menston near Ilkley

The site does it automatically in case you blocked in error I think.

If you block someone that was a friend, a friend request automatically appears. So that, in case it was a mistake, you can add them again quickly.

When blocking a friend the original request shows in your requests again so you have to delete it

They must have sent the request before you blocked them, then you checked and there was the request.

Thanks for this, it makes sense.

Liars who arranged a meet, then cancelled as they were going away for the weekend, but too stupid to switch GPS off showing they were 3 miles away!

Plenty of more fish in the sea; just need to make sure we don't hook the same one again

Not sure it works like that. We have been away and unless I change our postcode location the who is near feature still shows people near our home area.

I'might be wrong... I'm pretty sure it bases it on the postcode you entered not where you are.

Could be using phone\tablet which is left at home, as mentioned may not be showing their actual location rather set by postcode

Guess we will know more when then "we went away for a weekend came back to find we are now blocked" thread appears later

I think if they are using the who's near then I find I have to clear my location otherwise it still shows where I was the last time I used it.

Unless they changed their location on their profile when they went away for the weekend it will still show as their home address, the postcode they used when they signed up to Fab.

They prob wasn't lying.

If you don't allow Fab to use GPS when you move around your location remains your home postcode.
