This evening I managed to leave my sat nav. in a restaurant. When I returned three hours later it was handed back to me.

Who else has had their faith in the goodness of human nature restored this weekend?

I'd happily press the big red button and wipe out everything today.

Wanna find a nice spot to watch the world burn while drinking a fine wine and eating a big bucket of fried chicken?

Other week had just finished work so was sat outside a church with a colleague in a busy part of manchester chilling. I got up and walked off and bout 5mins down the road guy stops us and asks if we'd lost a phone. Sure enough was mine and must have dropped out my pocket.

It doesn't take one weekend to think the best of people.

Despite all evidence to the contrary, I remain an optimist about the human condition.

May be a idiotic question....but why would you have your sat nav in a restaurant with you ? lol

Hi Spanker and Cinnamon and Ginger

it's a fair question. The reason for having a sat nav.in a bag, in a restaurant was that I'd just delivered a car and decided to return home via the pub. .... then went for a meal, met up with some more friends and it slipped my mind.

Luckily the fellow diners and staff were honest enough to keep the bag and all that was in it back for me.

I don't think people are as bad as made out.

If they can get it back to you they will.

There are places i'd never expect to get things back from tho ... some clubs etc.

I work with what some people would class the dregs of society and in most cases, at least some of the time, they'd be right.

But on Saturday 3 came to me and said there was a sick and/or injured cat in the garden. I went out and there was a gorgeous little cat struggling to breathe and meowing in pain. I rang the RSPCA and they said they would get an inspector out as soon as possible. It was only 90 minutes, but in that 90 minutes they took turns sitting with the cat, stroking it gently and comforting it.

Unfortunately I have to go to work tomorrow and tell them the cat, which they named Pudsey, didn't make it, he was too badly injured, probably hit by a car.
