Why do people put up photos?

Was just wondering what the reasons are for people posting photos of themselves? There’s the obvious one of course, so people can simply see what you look like! But for some people it’s obviously more than that. Why post explicit pics of you having sex? Why post pics of you naked? Is it simply the thrill of knowing other people are looking at you being a little naughty and maybe being turned on by looking at you? Or is it something else?
I’m a bit of an exhibitionist so personally I love the idea of people looking at me. I also like it when people message me saying they like my photos. I’m also keen on photography so that’s also another reason. I enjoy the whole process of taking the photos.
So guys and girls, what’s your reason for putting up pics?

Because all the inane drivel written on the profile is a self critique, and possibly not always a true reflection.
A picture, if genuine can capture that initial attraction. And by that I mean based on creativity or suggestion not body type. |

I imagine most fab men to be scanners. They look at the pics and the inital info but dont read the whole profile in my experience. Besides, who was it said a picture paints a thousand words? |

So people can see what I look like, but also because I'm incredibly shy in real life and this is a safe way for me to enjoy positive attention without the discomfort of dealing with people face to face. And I must admit that get a huge buzz from the attention! It's still a novel experience for me |

I post mine because I enjoy taking them and I know (by the response I get) that others enjoy seeing them....

We like posting pics as a reminder of the fun we've had , and when we get lots of fabs for one we are chuffed to bits that so many others like it too .
As we like to meet often it's always good taint potential meets know what to expect too .

I don't like posting pics. I feel obliged to have a semi sexy one because of the nature of the site. I look like mutton dressed as lamb/cow in a tutu in lingerie so that's never going to happen. At the moment I don't have any pics showing and only two in my gallery; the one I use as a profile pic and a face pic. I lose quite a lot of interest from men when they realise I don't have private pics,quite often they seem surprised. |

I have views on some types of pictures, both male and female, but their reasons for posting them are theirs. It acts as a filter.
My reasons for posting pictures has changed over the years.
I don't have explicit pictures as I can't imagine them being anything other than  and not how I want to see myself.
It has taken me a long time to appreciate pictures of myself. I had a photoshoot in 2008 and liked more of the images than I hated. The avatar challenges got me to try taking pictures of myself and pictures that weren't just me standing still with a big smile on my face.
I post them so that people get some idea about me. Now that I do this selfie thing this is the place they go and sometimes I see myself in the mirror as I dress and think that looks ok but I have found a digital picture of the front and back give me a different feedback).
I add a new image every few weeks, depending on how I am feeling and what's in my head at the time.
The cherry was because the summer fruit made me want to illustrate my summer fruit thread, Gameforit's sweeties thread led me to illustrate that. The most recent on was dressing to go to a club last night, squeezing myself into a body shaper I have had since the 90s and finding myself oozing out of it. It shows those interested in such things how lumpy and bumpy I am.

I like the creative side, you hear that no one like cock pics so I decided to try and somehow have a cock pic without any cock in the photo.
I especially like the anonymous aspect which gives me the freedom to do what I like without all the social pressures. I spend time thinking about the scene, I'll collect props and I play with lights before I ever take one pic.
I also find it liberating, exciting, fun and it takes me out of my comfort zone. Normally I get dressed up for photos, on here it's the opposite, slipping off the your clothes for a photo feels different than just getting undressed |

Photoshop pretty much goes hand in hand with with digital photography and it's a slippery slope too, at first you just adjust one setting, and then you say ill do one more and an hour later you're still at it! |

I enjoy taking them. I get a flash of inspiration and if I can figure out a way to do it then it's really good fun. I like the fact I can post them here with a degree of anonymity, since it's like having a dirty little alter ego that is so far removed from the daily me it's liberating. Plus I never used to be one for selfies and seeing how my body is changing and looking (to my eyes) more attractive as I work on losing weight acts as a kick up the arse. If anyone else likes them then that's a nice little ego boost but really my photos are for me (with an occasional coded visual shout out to someone special). |

"I don't like posting pics. I feel obliged to have a semi sexy one because of the nature of the site. I look like mutton dressed as lamb/cow in a tutu in lingerie so that's never going to happen. At the moment I don't have any pics showing and only two in my gallery; the one I use as a profile pic and a face pic. I lose quite a lot of interest from men when they realise I don't have private pics,quite often they seem surprised.

I have only started taking pictures since being on here. I like doing it. I do it for me. I have different moods so different pictures. My recent one I decided to just have a no gimmick and natural picture, next one may be a posing one. People can look or not it's just a bit of fun. x |

I have an interest in photography and I like creating images. I used to put a lot of pictures up.
Nowadays I still take pictures and I am really pleased with some of the shots I've created. However I use a different website and forum to display and talk about them. The pictures are not sexual, I've never been interested in explicit or action shots anyway. |

hi as a woman it would be difficult to see it from a man's perspective but some not all women that display pics of themselves and don't have let me say the perfect hour glass figure but still get a lot of attention by virtue of the place that is " fab" become very arrogant with it that's my experience of this place ,I am a very placid guy but the varied reactions I've had have gained you this opinion by me x |

Because I like to take and edit photos. And if I'm taking them I like to share them, and I can't exactly share these on Facebook.
