There was a guy on here a couple of months ago complaining about this. He reported the profile but I don't know if anything was done about it though. Seems quite sad really if someone can't write a few lines of their own about themselves  |

I believe that was my profile you're referring to.
The astonishing thing though was that the profile-thief didn't feel he had done anything wrong and flouted his theft in the forum.
It took over 24 hours for him to delete it, and have no idea to this day if he was compelled to do so.
He left the site shortly afterwards, but, who knows, he's probably back again with my profile...  |

Thanks for all the profile compliments, this wasn't written as a "look at me" thread, I was just a big irked. The fellow in question lives in the same city as me so when people do searches they'll find us both & I don't want to get accused of copying him when I definitely didn't!
& to the person who asked if being quirky works on here, it does & it doesn't. Quirky people like it, others don't which is fine with me, I'm not looking to attract everyone, just ones that get me  |

It happens all the time - will fill in later.
If the profile accurately describes someone, it's unlikely there's a double on here who could use it. Maybe twist it, so that it's so unique, with lots of profile name repetition, that it becomes less feasible. |
