Hereabouts

for rehoming cats? Around Bingley/Bradford specifically.

I've tried Facebook, cats protection, rspca was closed today, I looked on that cat chat website and contacted as many places as I could. No luck any suggestions? Anything I may have missed?

A cat was left in the hallway in my building with a note saying the owner was too sick to look after it, so he's staying with me but I can't keep him.

Cats protection should add him to the waiting list if they are too full to take him now. If not, take him to the vets to be scanned for a chip, they will have contacts for local independent rescue centres.

8 month waiting list

I may have to try that. I don't think he has a chip, but at least if I take him to be scanned I'll know for sure and hopefully they'll be able to help.

I keep sneezing from all the fur. I've had cats all my life but never had any issues before

little house on the praire

Is it a full grown cat or a kitten?

The only thing I would suggest is taking it to a vet for a full health check then put an advert in shop windows saying it has a full bill of health and a brief description of why it needs to be homed.

Put an advert up in the vets and any local pet shops.

It's rarely the fur that ppl are allergic too, it's the dander. Try brushing with a damp soft brush after a good comb.x
