"Star tattoos, or multiple star tattoos used to be all the rage in South Wales when I lived there, especially on the neck and shoulders. Do you still see lots of them? "

"Ask your artist if they've anything they really want to do. Let them know what themes you like, am sure they'll enjoy doing it."
Well that's kind of my plan lol I trust him 100% I'm going in to see him before hand so fingers crossed |

I had to book an appointment to see my tattooist and show him designs etc of what I wanted before he came anywhere near me with a needle ...I'd at least have an idea ..I went online and looked up rose tattoos and went from there .... |

"CANCEL the apointment, no point in having a tattoo if you don't know what you want."
I'd agree with this unless you have at least an idea. I had a vague plan for my last tattoo but no idea on design. I researched the artist I wanted before I went and knew that he was great, expensive but I have to look at it forever so I wanted it done well. I gave him the words, he took one look at me then came back after half an hour with two designs. The first one was spot on and I love it but I was sure about the content before I went. It's too risky to wing it on something that you'll have forever. |

"What's the new trend is there a new trend? I'm booked in for 3 hours first sitting and I'm still not sure what I'm having . I got a few ideas but not sure what to have "
If you are asking about trends abd uncertain what to have then I would suggest holding back. A tattoo is not a fashion accessory you can just discard. Think about what is important to you as a person. What you identify with. Then research around this. |

Never go with trends. What tattoo is trending now will be out in a few months. Everyone has given you good advice. If you are still not sure what to have then cancel until you know 100% what you do want. |

Why would anyone have a tat based on a trend?
What happens when the trend ceases to be?

"What about a semi colon, they seem to be popular."
They have a specific meaning though. Nobody should get one of those without understanding what it represents because there could be future implications. |

You could get, in no particular order -
Feather turning into birds
Infinity symbol, with writing...usually love
Pocket watch, usually with roses
Heisenberg portrait
All these are great if you want to share a tattoo with every other unimaginative person in the world LOL x |

"I wouldn't go with what's trending at the moment. I'm stuck with my tribal tramp stamp that I had in 2001."
With a rear view like that you have absolutely no need to worry about being stuck with it...it definitely floats my boat, and that's for sure |
