I met a guy for a social, we sat in the car for a chat, he dipped his head and the next thing I knew he had bitten me just above my boob, it hurt like hell and I was not impressed!! Definitely a case of marking me as his. Two weeks later and the bruise has just about disappeared, I never did see him again, it was a complete turn off! |

I've had actual bites on my neck,back and mouth and little sucky marks around my nipples. The little sucky marks didn't hurt,I prefer them to a bite mark. |

I don't usually like being bruised unless it happens inadvertently during some vigorous play.

We used to call them a grotty when we were teenagers. They are just that grotty.
Each to their own but I would be furious if somebody marked me like that, unless I asked them too of course. I can see the appeal with hidden ones but big love bites all over the neck. Massive turn off.

We really hate them and have told everybody including family that we disapprove of them , but we now find ourselfs in a awarkward situation after having a passionate 3 some with another guy who gave a bite on the neck which wasn't noticed at the time because the highly sexed situation . And has left the worst kind of bruise in the most obvious area of the neck .
Now I ( Chris ) have to take the blame for that and the family really have a totally different opinion of me

Sometimes they just happen. I get them from someone just biting roughly. Don't feel it at the time :-& I've never liked given them. I think it's always just been a teenage thing. |

Errr, what difference would it have made in the first example? Stroke is not generally predictable, especially without some expensive equipment.
Asking first wouldn't have helped... but is good advice, of course |

But as we said in the first post both are still a tiny risk.
As with any sexual activity safe sex is about knowing the risks and making an informed decision.
