She's an exceptional athlete...not sure how strong the division is.
A shame cyborg has to come down in weight for the fight to be made.
Gina Carano is the only mma artist I've found physically attractive. |

with the way that rousey makes money there is not incentive for her to move up to 145..
a dietian has said he can get cyborg down to 135.... and ufc 200 is scheduled for next july.... so it should be possible safely if cyborg wants to do it...
but i think there will come a time when they say fuck it and do it at 140....
anyway rousey's next fight has been moved up to ufc 194 in melbourne because the main even injury to robbie lawler... so that place will sell out now... 70,000 seat stadium |

I'd also take her on, in a Muay Thai fight though not MMA, did you see her fight the other month that she lost against Jorjna Baars? Baars is undefeated in Muay Thai 37 wins zero losses, cyborg is mainly jiu jitsu and a very very powerful striker, in an mma fight with no rules and stoppage she'd kill me but I'd have a go at her in a Muay Thai fight! |

there are only 2 fights i'd like to see rousey in now.... if they could ever persuade gina carano to come back that would be a good 135 fight....
otherwise its the cyborg fight.. and the onus is on her to get down to 135...

Cyborg gets her ass wooped. In Ronda we are witnessing pure greatness. Its such a shame womens mma is so new as the talent pool just isnt there yet. But IMO we have the best womens mma fighter there will be for a very very long time.
Ronda doesnt need to move up in weight she is the champ. Dolce could get Cyborg to 135 but the old juice is the problem i think. She differs so much to when she first started |

Umm Cyborg gets her arse whooped? Hardly! Ronda rousey has 12 wins 3 by KO and alright she doesn't have any losses yet but half the people she fights are fresh from an mma gym and she made herself known by trash talking cyborg. Uses the excuse that she was on juice but that was 5 years ago and she's been clean ever since and there's loads of mma fighters that have used peds.
Cyborg has 14 wins 12 of those by KO her 1 loss was 10 years ago when she first started out and the loss she had the other month was not an MMA match it was Muay Thai against Baars who is a Muay Thai an kickboxing fighter with an unbeaten record of 37 wins zero losses. If that same fight had been mma she would have won because kickboxing and Muay Thai is completely different, in mma her opponent wouldn't have had a chance to get back to her feet and it wouldn't be marked so much on technical ability.
Ronda could easily go up to 140 to fight cyborg but she won't cos she knows she would lose, cyborgs offered to go down to 140 for the fight, I know who my money would be on. |

Well it's a classic grappler vrs striker situation isn't it? On balance the grappler wins more often but at any moment the striker can end the fight with one punch, kinda what makes UFC so exciting.
I wouldn't say either would automatically destroy the other. It's a question of whether Rousey can take down Cyborg, imo. |
